History

2015
On July 28, Runyang Energy Technology Co., Ltd. was officially established in Beijing and, in the same year, co-hosted the 2nd China Wind Power Aftermarket Symposium.
Became the first nationwide entity to obtain certification for wind turbine maintenance capability assessment issued by Jianheng Certification, as well as certification for wind energy operation and maintenance service projects from TÜV Rheinland, Germany.
2016
Awarded the 2016 Best Wind Power Operation and Maintenance Enterprise Award and the 2016 Best Innovative Technology Enterprise Award, we have successfully implemented several projects aimed at improving blade quality and efficiency. The renovation results have been certified through Jingheng’s power generation performance assessment, and we have obtained two national patents: one for a two-meter extension of the blade root section and another for a two-meter extension of the blade tip leading edge.
The Runyang Energy e-Spare Parts Sharing System platform was launched in the same year.
2017
In collaboration with Datang Group and Beijing Energy Group, we are launching the e-Spare Parts Joint Storage Project, pioneering a new model for spare parts supply in the industry.
Continuously awarded the Top 10 Wind Power Operation and Maintenance Enterprise Award for 2017.
2018
On August 1, we officially became the comprehensive undertaking entity for the aftermarket business segment of Mingyang’s wind turbine units.
During my tenure as rotating chair of the Wind Power Operation and Maintenance Cooperation Organization, I collaborated with the China Wind Energy Association to complete a comprehensive survey of older wind farms in China with capacities below 1 megawatt, providing guidance and producing a research report.
2019
Mingyang Smart Energy has been listed on the main board of the Shanghai Stock Exchange, with Runyang Energy serving as a key segment.
We have undertaken the first domestic offshore wind power operation and maintenance project for a 5.5 MW unit, and successfully secured the first order in Liaoning Province for an old wind farm retrofit project involving replacing smaller turbines with larger ones.
2020
In April, the Zhejiang Cangnan wind farm’s “large-to-small” project was successfully implemented, marking steady growth in this type of business. In October, Liaoning Province’s first “large-to-small” project for an aging wind farm was successfully installed and connected to the grid, beginning commercial power generation.
We overcame the technical barriers in the orphan unit project, completed the refurbishment and reconstruction of 25 units, and successfully connected them to the grid for power generation in Da'an, Jilin, that same year.
2021
We have launched the MY1.X model and completed type-test certification. This model is being applied to retrofit services in the aftermarket—replacing smaller units with larger ones or upgrading capacity—to meet diverse customer needs. Meanwhile, we are undertaking and executing multiple distributed EPC projects, promoting the deployment of megawatt-scale small generating units in industrial parks.
2022
We have signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Jidong Cement Group, pioneering a new approach to integrated collaboration with high-energy-consuming enterprises in building low-carbon and zero-carbon industrial parks.
Completed Chongqing Siyanping Wind Power Capacity Expansion and Retrofit Project—the country’s first large-scale “replace small with large” project. Won the bid for the “replace small with large” projects in Honghai Bay, Shanwei, Guangdong, and Hailing Island, Yangjiang.
2023
Signed the contract for the energy management project of user-side energy storage in Wugang, Henan, achieving a substantive breakthrough in integrated zero-carbon energy solutions.
We have established a strategic partnership with China Huaneng Group and undertaken the 125 MW “replace old with new” PC project for the Leting Wind Farm in Tangshan, Hebei Province.
In the same year, we completed the EPC project for distributed photovoltaic power generation at the South China Equipment Park in Shaoguan, Guangdong Province, as well as the 100 MW wind power project in Xizhou Mountain, Shanxi Province.
2024
We have innovated a zero-carbon integrated energy cooperation model and signed the Zhangjiagang Guangda Special Materials user-side energy storage project.
Signed a strategic cooperation agreement with China Huaneng New Energy in the wind power aftermarket sector.
Completed experimental verification of the domestically produced PLC and undertook the technical upgrade project aimed at improving the performance and efficiency of wind turbine units at the Tongbai Yune Wind Farm.
Signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Changchun Circular Economy to build a full-lifecycle service chain for wind power.
